Where there once was nothing…
now a conference room

Some of you may not have even been aware of this but over the past month, the CTK Response Team has been constructing a new conference room space for World Relief! This was a project that required so much special attention and labor to make happen so thank you to the hands and feet that stuck with it. Odd hours, unique skill sets, problem-solving on the fly, this project had it all.

World Relief in Whatcom County has assisted in welcoming hundreds of refugees into our community. This conference room space is key to helping provide a space to welcome families in and walk them through the necessary steps to ensure they are set up for success in joining our community. The executive director informed us that within in moments of them sweeping out the room, it was filled with several chairs and a family beginning the journey. They are overwhelmingly grateful for the work that has been done.

This is just one of the many examples of the tangible ways we step into the gap and help support the work of our community partners. When we execute the work prepared for us, we get a glimpse of what it looks like to bring the kingdom on earth as it is heaven.

Thank you to all who supplied their hands, feet, sweat, and energy.

Blessings to you all,

CTK Response Team Leadership
